Our next course offering is:
Getting It Right: Research, History, and Writing Crime Fiction
Where The Bones Lie author Nick Kolakowski leads this online and interactive course presented by Rock and a Hard Place Press. With this master of research at the helm, participants will learn how to make the past come alive, how to integrate accurate details without hurting a story’s pace and flow, and how to effectively utilize sources. If you’ve ever wanted to use facts and history as tools in your writing without slowing it down with info-dumps, this course is for you.
The course will run from March 8th through March 27th, with two live one-hour lectures on Zoom on Sunday, March 8th at noon EST and Sunday, March 22nd at noon EST (lectures will be recorded for registrants not able to participate at those times). Discussions will also be held on the Discord app and assignments will be uploaded using Google Drive.
Cost: $200
