Jay is a writer of crime fiction and an eater of tacos who lives in central New Jersey. He’s a co-host of the Asbury Park Noir at the Bar reading series, and has self-published two short story anthologies through his neo-pulp imprint, Episodes from the Zero Hour!.

His consultancy business, Elliott Communications, has provided public relations, fundraising, communications strategy, web design and development, and content and social media marketing for not-for-profit organizations and small businesses since 2007. He has worked in marketing and communications for not-for-profit organizations up and down the Eastern Seaboard, and specializes in new media marketing and fundraising within the creative economy.
